Liselot Bouman appointed as New Editor-in-Chief of Runner's World Netherlands
Amsterdam, March 13, 2025 – Liselot Bouman has been appointed as the new editor-in-chief of Runner’s World, the leading running magazine in the Netherlands. With her years of experience in the digital world and her passion for running, Liselot will further strengthen and refresh the editorial direction of the brand.

Strengthening the Authority of Runner’s World
In her new role, she will focus on further developing Runner's World's position as the go-to authority for runners of all levels. Before stepping into the role of editor-in-chief, Bouman served as Digital Manager forRunner’s World, Men’s Health, Women’s Health, and Bicycling. Additionally, the last four print editions of Runner’s World were published under her leadership.
With 27 years of experience in athletics and a deep love for the sport of running, she has built a strong foundation of content expertise for Runner’s World. Liselot Bouman states: "For thirty years, Runner’s World has been the go-to brand for running enthusiasts. I’m thrilled to lead and shape its direction. Running is becoming increasingly popular in the Netherlands, and I look forward to growing alongside Runner’s World—by creating outstanding magazines and engaging a (new generation of) running fans digitally on the platforms where they are active."
New Website Launch and Future Plans
One of the most significant developments in the coming period is the launch of the new Runner’s World website, which has been published by PXR Media since October 1 of last year. The new site will feature a new domain name: runners.nl. PXR’s CEO, Ernst Keyzer, is enthusiastic about the collaboration: “With Liselot at the helm, we are confident Runner’s World will become even more relevant for all runners. Her digital expertise and extensive experience in the running world will elevate the brand in both print and digital.”
30 Years of Runner’s World
This year marks the 30th anniversary of Runner’s World in the Netherlands. The milestone was recently celebrated with a special anniversary event at the PXR office. During the celebration, a commemorative cover was unveiled—a recreation of the very first issue from thirty years ago.
