Record Month for VoetbalPrimeur: 129 Million Pageviews in August

VoetbalPrimeur has wrapped up a record-breaking summer. PXR Media’s football platform recorded 129 million pageviews in August, the highest monthly total in VoetbalPrimeur’s 22-year history. Compared with August 2025, the number of pageviews in August 2026 increased by nearly 40 percent.

The record-breaking month marks the culmination of an exceptionally strong summer of football for VoetbalPrimeur. Driven by the World Cup and the transfer window that followed, ‘VP’ generated almost 350 million pageviews and reached an average of 4 million unique visitors per month.

This growth comes at a time when the way people find information online is changing, partly due to the rise of AI. VoetbalPrimeur continues to focus on providing the most comprehensive overview of football news, complemented by original editorial content including interviews, videos and podcasts.
